On 24th September 2025, UG Management Department, Lloyd Group of Institutions hosted a Financial Literacy Workshop titled “Role of Capital Market and Depository Services in India.” The workshop was specially organized for undergraduate students to help them learn the basics of personal finance and investment.

The event began with a warm welcome to theGuest Speaker, Mr. Chandresh Gupta, a well-experienced finance professional known for his deep knowledge of the Indian capital market and wealth management strategies.

Mr. Gupta started the session by explaining the concept of financial literacy — why understanding money is important and how it impacts everyone’s daily life. He highlighted that good financial knowledge helps individuals plan for the future, save money, and make wise investment decisions.

He then introduced the Indian capital market, explaining the role of stock exchanges (like NSE and BSE) and depository services such as NSDL and CDSL, which make buying and selling securities safe and simple.
