  • Promote a Healthy Competitive Spirit – To create a friendly and enjoyable competitive environment that fosters sportsmanship.
  • Enhance Communication Skills – To give participants opportunities to express themselves confidently and clearly under time constraints.
  • Strengthen Peer Interaction – To help new students connect and interact with their peers, building a sense of community before the academic journey begins.

Detailed Report:

The Lloyd Group of Institutions organised an exciting Friday Funday Activity under the theme "Just A Minute!" as part of the BBA Pre-Orientation Program (2025-28) on Friday, 8th August 2025 at 10:30 AM onwards via Zoom, coordinated by Dr. Supriya Dang, Assistant Professor, LIMT.

This specially designed online event aimed to blend entertainment with skill-building exercises, making it a perfect platform for students to relax, interact, and challenge themselves in a lively setting.

The session included the following highlights:

  1. Spot the Difference – A visual challenge designed to test participants' observation skills by identifying changes or inconsistencies between two images within a short time frame.
  2. Riddle Relay – A quick-thinking puzzle-solving round where participants had to answer riddles swiftly, encouraging mental agility and problem-solving under pressure.
  3. Object Collection Challenge – An engaging scavenger-hunt style game requiring students to collect specific household or easily available items in the shortest possible time.
  4. Coin and Rupees Rush – A playful yet skill-based challenge involving quick calculations and speedy gathering of coins and currency notes, encouraging alertness and coordination.

The event was conducted in a virtual format via Zoom, making it accessible to all participants regardless of location. Students showed immense enthusiasm, actively participating in all activities with creativity and quick reflexes.

This initiative was part of the "Start Smart" series, focusing on the holistic development of students before the commencement of their academic curriculum. The activities not only provided entertainment but also subtly enhanced essential life skills like teamwork, strategic thinking, and time management.
