Objectives:

The objective of the workshop was to engage the students of Lloyd BBA second year and final year for a meaningful session on management. It was organised to spread knowledge about the financial investment and management along with the risks associated with it.

Detailed Report:

The Workshop: Insurance and Risk Management was organized on 24th May 2023, at Lloyd Group of Institutions, Management Department, campus 2. The workshop on Insurance and Risk Management was an interactive one, where students participated with enthusiasm. It was a knowledgeable session that provided insight into the importance of insurance and risk management in our lives. The workshop also discussed the different types of insurance policies, how to manage risks associated with them, and the various ways to protect ourselves from financial losses.

Learning Outcomes:

The workshop provided the platform to the students to learn, interact, and understand the fundamentals of financial investment. The major learning outcomes of the workshop were:

• to help students understand the importance and need of insurance
• to provide them with sufficient knowledge about investment through insurance
• to make students well versed with the key concepts to make them future ready.

Overall, the workshop was a great success, and the students were very appreciative of the opportunity that they got to be a part of.
