Objective:

The aim of Lloyd GameFest: The Clash of Champions was to create a vibrant and competitive space where students could unwind, connect, and challenge themselves beyond the classroom. Through a mix of indoor games and e-sports, the event encouraged teamwork, strategic thinking, and a spirit of healthy competition.

Detailed Report:

On April 17, 2025, the U.G. Management Department of Lloyd Group of Institutions hosted an electrifying event titled Lloyd GameFest: The Clash of Champions, organized under the banner of the Lloyd Champion’s Sports Club.

From thrilling e-sports to classic board games, the event offered students a break from academics and a platform to showcase their skills. The fest featured four main games: BGMI, Free Fire, Ludo, and Carrom.  

A structured format was followed across all games:

  • BGMI and Free Fire featured solo and squad rounds, with top scorers declared after one match each.
  • Ludo had three elimination rounds — beginning with 11 matches, then narrowing down to finalists.
  • Carrom followed a straight knockout format to determine the winners.

The energy was contagious, and the response was overwhelming with active participation from across the department.

Free Fire — Squad Mode

  2. Nishant and Team – 2nd position
  3. Siddhant and Team – 3rd position

Free Fire – Solo Mode

  2. Ansh Kumar Singh – 2nd
  3. Nishant – 3rd

Ludo

  1. Muskan Tejwani – 1st position
  2. Ayush Kumar – 2nd position
  3. Sneha Sharma – 3rd position

Carrom

  1. Mayank Amrit – 1st position
  2. Ishan Kumar – 2nd position
  3. Chirag Rawat – 3rd

The winners were felicitated with trophies and certificated by the Head of Department, Dr. Shilpi Sarna, and program coordinator, Mr. Faisal Noman, who appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and encouraged such initiatives that blend fun with skill development.

Conclusion:

Lloyd Gamefest was a massive success, bringing fun, focus, and friendly rivalry together under one roof. It not only helped students’ recharge but also built a stronger sense of community and sportsmanship within the department. It provided a much-needed break from academics, encouraged peer bonding, and allowed students to take the lead in organizing and managing a successful event. The lively atmosphere, active participation, and smooth coordination made it a memorable experience for everyone involved, laying the foundation for more such interactive and energizing events in the future.
