The orientation program for the BBA and B.Com batches (2024-27) of Lloyd Group of Institutions, titled "AARAMBH 2024," spanned two insightful days on the 29th and 30th of August 2024. On the first day, 29th August 2024, the event commenced with the reporting and registration of the new students at the Management Department, Campus 2. The Head of Department, Dr. Shilpi Sarna ensured that the registration process was well-organized, while Mr. Faizal Noman, the Program Coordinator, managed the logistical aspects. Dr. Inakshi kapur , the BBA First Year Coordinator, provided additional support, ensuring that every student was properly registered and accounted for.

After registration, the students were introduced to the institution’s academic and administrative framework. This session, led by Supriya Dang, was pivotal in familiarizing the students with their faculty members and breaking the ice, allowing them to feel more comfortable and connected with their educators. The second day, 30th August 2024, began with a more formal and ceremonial atmosphere, marked by the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony. This symbolic act, performed by Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Director of Lloyd Group of Institutions, alongside distinguished guests of honor, officially commenced the academic year. Dr. Sethi’s opening address underscored the institution’s dedication to nurturing leaders and innovators, emphasizing academic rigor, ethical values, and a global outlook. Her words inspired the students to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.

The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of two eminent guests of honor: Mr. Partha Banerjee, Director & Head of Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at Niva Bupa, and Mr. Chirag Gupta, CEO & Founder of Deyor, recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia and an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. Mr. Banerjee, who was felicitated with a planter by the Head of department, Dr. Shilpi Sarna, shared his professional journey, offering valuable insights into the corporate world and the importance of adaptability and continuous learning. Mr. Gupta, who was also honored with a planter presented by Mrs. Kanika Jain, delivered an inspiring speech recounting his entrepreneurial journey. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Head Of Department, Dr. Shilpi Sarna , who expressed gratitude to the guests of honor, faculty members, and students for their active participation and enthusiasm.
